Steph 2016

I created this page to ask for your help.  My sister Stephanie has been consumed with serious drug addiction.  Her addiction has led her to become homeless and her health worsens with each day of use. We are consumed with worry and despair for her that she may die before she agrees to treatment.

As anyone who loves someone with an addiction knows, it’s a complex problem without a simple solution.  Unfortunately, none of the people who love Stephanie can help her recover her life until she becomes willing and committed to treatment.

So, I would ask :

#1 – Please join me in daily prayer for Stephanie, and for all who suffer from addiction

#2 – Please click read more, and use the sharing buttons to help me to ask other people of faith to join us in daily prayer for Stephanie.

#3 – Leave a comment that you are praying for her.  I hope that when she sees this page, it may move her heart to ask for help.

Eucmenical Prayer for Stephanie

Lord God, I put myself into Your hands this day.  I ask You, with all my heart, to cure the terrible addiction to drugs in Stephanie.  Create in her an intolerance for drugs that will help her seek treatment, prevent her from relapse, and trust in your love and mercy.  Through your infinite power, I pray that she will be healed of all withdrawal symptoms of this terrible affliction.  Amen.

Intercessory Prayer for Stephanie

Saint Maximilian Kolbe, your life of love and labor for souls was sacrificed amid the horrors of a concentration camp and hastened to its end by an injection of a deadly drug.

Look with compassion upon Stephanie who is now trapped in addiction to drugs and whom I now recommend to your powerful intercession. Having offered your own life to preserve that of a family man, I turn to you with trust, confident that you will understand and help.

Obtain for me the grace to persevere in prayer that the enslaving bonds of her addiction may be broken and that full health may be restored to her.

I will never cease to be grateful to God who has helped Stephanie and heard your prayer for her.  Amen.

Prayer for all who suffer with addiction

Most loving God, we ask your blessing upon all who suffer from addiction.
Strengthen them to reach out for help.
Enable them to take the first step to recovery.
Bless them with the persistence to persevere in the fight to be free.
Give courage and hope to their families, drawing them close together in the power of our love, which alone can transform our living.  Amen.

  2. Stephanie, I am praying for you and I’m asking several hundred people to do so as well. God loves you and He knows any pain you are going through. You’re a beautiful creation of God and made in His image. He wants to help you and heal you, mind, body and soul. I pray right now, wherever you are, that you hear His voice and listen to Him. Lord, come to our assistance and help Stephanie. Protect her from all evil and break this chain of drug addiction. Dear Saint Anthony, please help find our lost sister Stephanie and bring her to safety where she can get the treatment she needs. Give her the strength to be healed from this addiction. I ask this through the Lord JESUS Christ. I call upon the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the angels and saints to intercede for her at this time. St. Michael the Archangel, defend our sister Stephanie in this day of battle – against the evil of this drug addiction that is clinging to her and keeping her from letting it go. Break this chain that’s holding her back from the help needed. Amen.

  3. I will keep Stephanie in my prayers and light a candle for her. It is such a heartbreak to see what addiction can take away from a person. But God is greater! Dear Lord, we put Stephanie in your hands. Lift her up and help her to feel your love so that she desires you more than anything else.

  5. Stephanie, I want you to know that you are loved and that I am praying for you daily. God can make the difference in your life. Many years ago, my dad suffered from an LSD addiction that had been consuming his life for years. He turned to God for help and in a moment of time, God miraculously delivered him from his addiction! He has been drug free for 50+ years!! I know God is able to do the same for you. I will be adding you to my church’s prayer list. If you would like to talk to my dad about his experience, would like more information, or would like to come to my church to receive special prayer, please contact your mom and I will give her the information. Remember, God loves you even more than your family. Ask God for help and He will answer!

I am asking our Blessed Mother to intercede for you, to set you free from dependence on drugs and in its place become serenely dependent on God’s incredible love and mercy. The Lord will do this for you if you but desire it. I will always be praying for you!

  7. Stephanie, I’m praying for you, and two scriptures come to mind this morning – Matthew 6:33-34 33 But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. 34 Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil. We can only live one day at a time, let Jesus take your hand Stephanie and lead you to healing and rest in His arms. And Philippians 4:13 I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me. Stephanie, hear these prayers of those who know you, and who don’t know you, but all who know God who loves each one of us so much, just as He loves you. Lord Jesus, please find your daughter Stephanie, bring her home to you. Amen.

  12. Stephanie so many are praying for you to find the light out of your darkness. You are not alone dear one. Take the hand that is reaching out to you! In it you will find the strength to take all the many hands that will be there to embrace you and help you find the beautiful you who is aching to be found again. You will be nurtured and loved and find things that will make you smile again
and bring you inner peace. What a wonderful thought, right? Nothing is stopping you but fear. You have nothing to fear, only goodness and love await you. You will rest easy and have freedom from the heavy bricks that are weighing you down. The darkness will fade and you’ll find joy you forgot ever existed. Take the hand that is reaching out to you! The hand of life.
My close family member is a recovering addict. The years and years of darkness are not far behind him. I know the pain and frustration he felt trying to break his habits. Without the steadfast love of family he would no longer be alive. Although he said he didn’t care, he now can see all he would have missed. Love of family will save you, you simply need to embrace it. . I know you are in pain in your addiction. I want to see you released from the loneliness and hurt it causes you. I wish for you so very much! There is something better waiting for you. Yes, change is scary but life as an addict
is scary and hard. You will not be alone; you’ll be surrounded by loved ones. Friends and family love you so much; lean on them, Allow them to help you heal. You are in the loving powerful hands of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus will help you up from the grave; grasp His hand
and let Him lead the way back to life.
    love and prayers
    You are so beautiful 🌹

  20. Praying for the intercession of Our Lady for Stephanie. Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone that fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you O Virgin of Virgins! To you do I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy, hear and answer me. Please heal Stephanie and show her your Son.

  22. Dear Stephanie,
If you are reading this website then God is calling you to Him. He is waiting for you, He loves you and wants to help you. All you have to do is ask.
All I can give you is what I have come to learn and experienced in my life and that is that I cannot do anything on my own – from tying my shoes to taking my next breath. Everything I do and have is a gift from Him. I think His best gift to me is faith. I don’t have all the answers or a plan. When I go it alone with my plan, I make a mess of it.
He does it all, all I have to do is say yes to Him. I know it’s hard to believe in something you can’t see or touch or hear. But now that I’m in the winter of my years I find that I can see better, I can feel better, I can hear better only by His gift of faith and my willingness to receive and accept it.
I want you to see that you are loved and that you matter. We can’t do this for you, we can’t make you do anything. You are the only one that can say yes and when you do you will see miracles happen in your life. And we will do everything possible to help you beat this.
From my personal experience God has put people in my life that has helped in His plan for me and He will do the same for you.
Love and prayers , Uncle Terry

  23. Stephanie, you are priceless. There will only ever be one of you and regardless of how you may feel or even how others may treat you, the reality is that you are precious and you are loved. Nothing is impossible with God. There IS hope and your deepest desires CAN be filled. One step at a time. Little by little, push through the pain, the addiction and let Christ help you carry this cross until you find His healing. You are worth it. We think so and so does God.
